Ride Camp Safety Conference

Ride Camp Safety Conference is an annual professional development event focused on advancing safety, operations, and leadership excellence within the amusement, water park, and attractions industry. 

What To Expect

Typically Ride Camp attracts over 200 attendees from over 80 parks across the world.

The conference brings together ride & aquatic operators, supervisors, managers, and safety professionals to share best practices, regulatory updates, and real-world lessons related to ride operations and guest safety. Through interactive sessions, hands-on learning, and peer discussions, participants strengthen their understanding of risk management, incident prevention, and operational consistency. Ride Camp emphasizes building a proactive safety culture that empowers teams to deliver safe, reliable, and exceptional guest experiences.

Camp Structure

At Ride Camp, attendees are assigned to small groups (called “Cabins”), led by a Camp Counselor (an experienced operations industry professional). These groups provide an opportunity for in-depth discussion and allow the Counselors to ensure that all attendees are gleaning the knowledge that they need.

Ride Camp is also the event where iROC (International Ride Operator Certified) Instructors can gain or renew their Instructor Certification. These attendees will be required to take a certain set of courses to renew their certification.

Courses & Learning Experience

All attendees have the opportunity to sign up for elective courses, the courses which apply most to their operational and leadership needs. Ride Camp offers over 100 courses to choose from, and speakers are all experienced industry professionals. Ride Camp comprises of a mix of classroom, activity, and at the ride/slide classes.
